Snap-Open Booth Format

Pop-Up Trade Show Displays Built to Open Fast

Pop-up displays open in under 5 minutes with no tools and no instructions to read. An accordion-style frame springs into shape, magnetic graphic panels snap into place, and you have a fully branded backwall ready for the show floor. The fastest, most portable floor display we build.

At Storm Displays, pop-up displays are a workhorse for brands traveling to multiple events per year, sales teams running regional shows, and exhibitors who need a backwall they can set up alone. Compare with tabletop displays if your venue provides a table, or step up to a full 10x10 booth when you have more floor space. How It Works

From Case to Booth in Minutes

An accordion-style aluminum frame lives in a hardshell case. Open the case, lift the frame, and the spring-loaded mechanism expands the frame into a full backwall. Snap the magnetic graphic panels onto the frame. The booth is built.

Pop-Up Formats We Build

Different pop-up styles for different booth strategies. Same fast-open mechanism, different visual presence.

Most Popular

Curved Pop-Up Display

Gently curved backwall that pulls visitors in from across the show floor. The classic pop-up shape. Sits well in inline booth corners.

  • 6-10 ft wide curved frame
  • Magnetic SEG fabric panels
  • Soft, inviting visual profile
  • Most travel-friendly format
Modern Look

Straight Pop-Up Display

Flat backwall format for a clean, contemporary look. Maximizes graphic real estate for product imagery, logos, and messaging.

  • Full-width flat graphic surface
  • Better for typography-heavy designs
  • Pairs well with side-mounted accessories
  • Larger total branded surface area
Premium Tier

Backlit Pop-Up Display

LED illumination panels behind the SEG fabric. Glows from within and cuts through ambient lighting on the show floor. Pairs with our full backlit displays line.

  • Integrated LED panels
  • Even illumination across full graphic
  • Strongest visual impact in the pop-up category
  • Same fast setup as standard pop-ups
Compact Format

Tabletop Pop-Up Display

Smaller pop-up sized to sit on a 6-foot conference table. Same accordion-frame mechanism, scaled down for tabletop venues. The right call when the venue provides a table instead of floor space.

  • Scaled for 6-8 ft tables
  • Folds into airline carry-on case
  • Same magnetic graphic panels
  • Solo setup in under 5 minutes

Get Answers for FAQs

How does a pop-up display actually open?
An accordion-style aluminum lattice frame is the structural core. The lattice connects to itself with spring-loaded hinges. When you lift the frame out of its case, the spring tension expands it from a compact bundle into a full-width arc or rectangle. Magnetic graphic panels then snap onto the front of the frame. The whole process takes under 5 minutes and requires no tools or instructions.
What size pop-up display should I choose?
For a 10x10 inline booth, an 8 to 10 foot wide pop-up is the standard choice. For corner positions or open layouts, a 10 foot wide pop-up gives the strongest presence. For smaller spaces, conference booths, or solo regional shows, a 6 to 8 foot pop-up is plenty. Tell us your booth footprint and we will recommend the right width.
Can I replace just the graphics without buying a new pop-up?
Yes. Pop-up displays are designed for repeat use across many shows, and graphic panels are sold separately from the frame. When your branding or messaging changes, you can reprint the magnetic graphic panels while keeping the same frame and case. Graphic reprints cost a fraction of buying a new display.
Are pop-up displays durable enough for regular travel?
Yes, when packed in the included hardshell case. The aluminum frame is engineered for hundreds of open-and-close cycles. The case is built to take airline baggage handling, hotel storage, and trade show floor environments. The graphic panels fold without creasing when rolled or stored according to the instructions. With reasonable care, a single pop-up display works across many years of shows.
What's the difference between a pop-up display and a portable display?
Pop-up is a specific format that uses a spring-loaded accordion frame to open quickly. Portable is a broader category that includes pop-ups along with retractable banners, fabric backdrops, panel displays, and other compact booth formats. Every pop-up display is portable, but not every portable display is a pop-up. Browse our portable trade show displays page for the full category overview.
Can the case really double as a counter?
Yes. Most pop-up cases ship with a custom-printed counter wrap that turns the hardshell case into a branded podium or counter once the display is set up. Set the case upright, snap on the counter wrap, and you have a place to put brochures, demo product, or take notes during conversations. One piece of gear, two booth elements.
